The Temple of Peace is a place where community comes together!
More than 15 years ago, visionary founders, Rev. Shelley and Rev. Kedar St John, developed a simple concept first voiced by Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, nearly 2,500 years ago: "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food."
2,000 years ago: Jesus, according to “The Essene Gospel of Peace” emphasized internal cleansing:
“Think not that it is sufficient that the angel of water embrace you outwards only.
I tell you truly, the uncleanness within is greater by much than the uncleanness without.
And he who cleanses himself without, but within remains unclean, is like to tombs that
outwards are painted fair, but are within full of all manner of horrible uncleanness’ and abominations.”
Together they nurtured this seed, creating a comprehensive healing sanctuary, a “full chakra” ministry, starting in the “basement” (colon) that encourages people to draw from their vast inner resources to transform the quality of their health and lives. The commitment to this Body, Mind, and Spirit inspired truth is embodied at Temple of Peace Healing Sanctuary jointly directed by the caring hands of Rev. Kedar and Rev. Shelley St John since 2000.
Temple of Peace Healing Sanctuary, flourishes within a lush, tropical .5-acre setting in the historic plantation village of Haiku, on the North Shore of the Beautiful Island of Maui, Hawaii.
Under the guidance of a knowledgeable and compassionate team, guests from all over the world benefit from health and nutritional counseling, non-invasive remedial and youth-enhancing therapies, boutique spa services, inspiring talks on life principles, and a tasty daily buffet of enzyme-rich, organic meals.
The goal of the Temple of Peace Healing Sanctuary is to assist people in taking responsibility for their lives and to help them internalize and actualize an existence free from premature aging, disease, and needless pain.
Good health is our most prized possession, generating a positive mindset of confidence, enthusiasm, strength, and joyfulness that can trigger a life of optimum achievement.
Such vibrant health does not thrive by luck or by chance. Like all things of great value, it must be tended and nurtured with care.
This process can be very intimidating without the proper guidance.
The Temple of Peace 5 & 10 day cleanse and spiritual retreat program makes this a comfortable transition.
The specialized team and professional care servers support guests as they transform their lives in an encouraging environment, along with others who are recovering from similar challenges.
People from all walks of life who have benefited from the Temple's wellness blueprint. They share stories of recovery that are considered miraculous by standard medical practices, but are actually quite typical of people who have embraced the alternative life style. Where ever people are at with their path to wellness, time spent at the Temple of Peace most certainly will build a healing foundation that will bare fruit for many years to come.
Welcome to Aloha!
